The great expansion of the tourist industry in Mallorca has brought many from Europe and other parts of the world to visit, or at least to hear of it many times. But the image of the island that accompanies this recognition is often the result of a very partial observation. Besides the postcard Mallorca of sun and sand there is “the other Mallorca”, a Mallorca that surely goes unnoticed by most visitors to the island.
TOUR DESCRIPTION: CORNICHES AND LA GRANJA
This tour will depart from the port to Puerto de Andraitx, enjoying during the drive a panoramic view of “holiday” villages of Palma Nova, Santa Ponça and Paguera.
At Puerto de Andraitx, you will discover a little fishing port, the fishing boats live together the luxurious yachts that arrive during the summer. Here you will have some free time for take some pictures. Re-boarding the bus, you will be driven to La Granja making a panoramic drive on the Northwestern coastal. At your arrival at La Granja you will find an historical mansion of 3000 m2. With its different halls, dining rooms, bed rooms, music rooms, “patios”, terraces and jails.
A perfect example of the ancient Majorcan life with an infrastructure that allowed the auto sufficiency thanks to its 20000 m2 of big gardens with fountains, ponds, giant ancient trees, a great variety of flowers and plants and many different wild and domestic animal and birds.
You will be offered a tasting of Majorcan specialties that together a demonstration of ancient handcrafts tools and machinery, will introduce you in this ancient style of life. Finished this visit, you will be driven back to the ship.

We would ask you to be punctual so that other passengers are not kept waiting, we will wait a maximum of 15 minutes after the advertised departure time.
The times are programmed with a margin of at least 15 minutes of the ship’s arrival time. You do not need to worry if the ship is delayed as we will be waiting for you and any other passengers who are arriving on the same cruise ship.
