EXCURSION DESCRIPTION – PALMA AND VALLDEMOSSA – VIP
This tour includes the main sites of historical and cultural interest in Palma. Departing the port of Palma for the Castle Bellver you drive along the Paseo Marítimo. On the left you will see hotels and restaurants, on the right luxury yachts. The Castle of Bellver is the only round castle in Spain. It is located some 400 metres above sea level. Your guide will explain its history from the outside, whilst you will be able to enjoy and photograph the wonderful panoramic views of Palma and the port. Next, we continue our tour to Valldemossa where Chopin and George Sand stayed one winter, we explore this attractive village and the surroundings of the La Cartuja monastery. Finally, we return to Palma where we begin a walking tour of the old town, wandering through its charming, narrow streets and admiring the city’s most important monuments: the Cathedral, Almudaina Palace, the Renaissance walls, the town hall in the Plaza de Cort, La Lonja (a Gothic building, once the Maritime Stock Exchange). At the end of our walking tour, we return you to your ship or hotel.

Palma and Valldemossa – Itinerary – Tour duration: 4h30m
00.00 – Depart the port or your hotel for Bellver Castle
00.15 – Arrival at Bellver Castle, visit the Castle’s exterior, here you will be able to enjoy and photograph some wonderful views of Palma and the port.
00.40 – Depart for Valldemossa.
01.10 – Arrive at Valldemossa for a guided tour of the village.
02.10 – Return to Palma
02.40 – Arrive in Palma, walking tour of the historic centre, including the outside of the Cathedral.
04.00 – Return to “la escollera” where your minibus will be waiting
04.10 – Arrive at “La escollera” for the return to your ship or hotel
04.30 – Arrive at your ship or hotel.
Advice: You should wear comfortable shoes because there are some stairs and you will be walking approximately 1.5 Km.

We would ask you to be punctual so that other passengers are not kept waiting, we will wait a maximum of 15 minutes after the advertised departure time.
The times are programmed with a margin of at least 15 minutes of the ship’s arrival time. You do not need to worry if the ship is delayed as we will be waiting for you and any other passengers who are arriving on the same cruise ship.
