Valldemossa and Chopin with external view of the Bellver’s Castle

From the port, through fields of olive trees, planted during the Roman domination of the island will take you to the picturesque village of Valldemossa with its cobbled stone roads and beautiful gardens, located in a valley surrounded by the “Sierra de tramuntana” at  18 kilometers from the port of Palma in the west of the island of Mallorca and 400 meters high. Once in Valldemossa, you will visit the Cartuja, the old pharmacy, Priory Cell and the cells, which were occupied by Frederic Chopin and his partner George Sand, author of “A Winter in Mallorca”, during the winter of 1837/38. Also you will visit the Municipal Museum and the Palace of King Sancho. Then you will have half an hour to explore Valldemossa on your own, and finally you will head to the exterior of the Bellver’s Castle, where you will enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the city of Palma de Mallorca.

We would ask you to be punctual so that other passengers are not kept waiting, we will wait a maximum of 15 minutes after the advertised departure time.

The times are programmed with a margin of at least 15 minutes of the ship’s arrival time. You do not need to worry if the ship is delayed as we will be waiting for you and any other passengers who are arriving on the same cruise ship.
